Welcome to my gallery. I’m a self-taught, amateur photographer with no formal training. I am laughably limited in technical skills but I am deeply driven by composition. My tendencies are black and white even when shooting macro. But color certainly creeps into my work. Eyes with color sensitivity deficiency are more comfortable viewing the world in the contrasts black and white bring. But color has its own world of contrasts and I try to put together compositions that take full advantage when that offering is there in front of me. Each image reflects my process of learning by observing, experimenting, and exploring the world around me.

This collection represents an ongoing journey rather than a destination, and I hope these photographs invite you to slow down and see familiar scenes from a different perspective.
